Dubai - From the Persian Gulf to the Red Desert
While my skin and hair weren’t big fans of this day, it will go down as one of the most memorable days of my life.
Jan 7 - La Mer
A morning to myself.
The morning was slotted as “free time” so I had decided to go put my feet in the Persian Gulf. I mentioned this to our director and he quickly suggested I go to La Mer. At first, I thought he was joking, because I wanted to go to the Gulf…not the ocean, and he has quite the sense of humor. He didn’t laugh though, so I asked for clarification and he explained that it’s a beautiful beach-side area for shopping, dining and even a water park. I’m so glad I followed his recommendation. La Mer was exactly what I needed.
Jan 7 - Red Desert Dune Safari
The highly anticipated afternoon safari trip.
With planned activities like quad and camel riding (not at the same time), a falcon photo op, dinner and a show, we are very excited for this activity. Though, I don’t think any of us realized that the SUV dune ride was not optional.
