Dubai - Abu Dhabi Day Trip

I realize that you’ve had to wait quite a while for this next post. Thank you for your patience. The Spring semester began on January 19th and, even though classes have been virtual for these first two weeks, it’s been draining getting back into the flow. My posts will be a bit more spread out, but I will work to continue sharing my Dubai trip along with the many fun activities I’m getting to take part in, this semester. Enough about me. Let’s talk get to Abu Dhabi!

For our sixth day of the international adventure, our organizer successfully planned a day-trip to Abu Dhabi. It was an unforgettable day of multi-layered experiences.

Jan 8 - Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

An architectural masterpiece.

Words don’t do the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque justice. It’s simply…perfection.

Jan 8 - The Louvre Abu Dhabi

We paused a moment to take in some art history.

We started the afternoon at The Louvre Abu Dhabi. I took very limited photos, because I don’t believe in displaying everything a museum has to offer. However, I also know that the majority of us will not have the opportunity to see much of this. So, here is - what I believe to be - a fair balance of some of the wonders the Louvre had in store for us.

Jan 8 - Ferrari World

What would a SCREAM trip be without some adrenaline? We wrapped up the day at Ferrari World, an indoor roller coaster theme park. The walking areas, entrances and lines for the rides is all indoors, but the coaster itself thrusts you out of the building at more 100mph!

Shall we?
