Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
I had always thought that the photos I’ve seen of the Mosque were fantastically filtered to have such a white/blue contrast, but boy was I wrong! This structure was quite possibly the most beautiful work of art that I’ve ever had the privilege to lay eyes on. The sky truly is that blue and the walls really are that purely white. I hope you enjoy the photos I was able to snap between my moments of silent awe.

The entrance to the Mosque is actually through a subterranean mall and that dome covers the entrance.
It's huge. This is a couple of football fields away.
I was just completely overwhelmed, by this point and we had not yet even gone inside.

Indoors we saw dozens of ornate crystal chandeliers.
Every single inch of the building was covered in gorgeous designs and patters.
Breathtaking.
